Job summary

Dark Wolf is seeking a Google Customer Engineer to act as a critical liaison for a Department of Defense partner, driving adoption and optimization of Google Cloud in a secure government environment. The role is primarily remote with support from hubs in Herndon, VA; Tampa, FL; San Antonio, TX; Colorado Springs, CO; Ogden, UT; or Omaha, NE.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in cloud computing, 1+ year on GCP, DoD cybersecurity familiarity, and superb communication to drive cloud transformation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 3+ years of cloud computing experience.
• 1+ years with GCP.
• Strong client interaction and requirements gathering.
• Familiarity with DoD/DISA cybersecurity policies.

Responsibilities

• Identify and translate customer requirements, pain points, and security concerns into actionable engineering tasks.
• Create, update, and close assignment tickets based on customer needs and security considerations.
• Lead customer engagement activities such as office hours and system monitoring to ensure proper Google Platform usage.
• Ensure cloud projects are optimized for cost and education to support culture change.
• Provide feedback to the government team to inform planning decisions and improvement efforts.
• Explore service automation opportunities and templatize common requests.
• Document lessons learned and help update processes for Zero Trust and cybersecurity accreditation.
