Job summary

Dark Wolf is seeking a Google Cloud Customer Engineer to serve as a key liaison for a DoD customer, driving adoption and secure cloud transformation. The role supports multiple hubs and is primarily remote, with options to work from Herndon, Tampa, San Antonio, Colorado Springs, Ogden, or Omaha.

The candidate will translate requirements into actionable tasks, manage tickets, and engage customers through weekly sessions and monitoring to ensure optimal cloud usage and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in cloud computing.
• 1+ years of experience with GCP.
• Strong communication and customer engagement skills.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity policies and DoD/DISA guidelines.
• Experience with IaC using Terraform and CI/CD in cloud environments.
• US Citizenship and active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Identify requirements, pain points, and security concerns and translate into actionable engineering tasks.
• Generate, update, and close assignment tickets in response to customer needs and security concerns.
• Lead customer engagement activities such as office hours, system monitoring, and requirement gathering.
• Ensure projects are optimized for cost and best practices within Google Cloud.
• Collect and relay customer feedback to government teams to inform planning decisions.
• Explore service automation opportunities and templatize common requests.
• Draft and update documentation to improve the Zero Trust architecture and cybersecurity processes.
