Job summary

Dark Wolf is seeking a Google Cloud Customer Engineer to act as a key liaison with our DoD partner, ensuring secure, optimized adoption of Google Platform in a government environment.

The role is primarily remote across U.S. hubs, requiring strong cloud expertise, DoD cybersecurity awareness, and excellent customer engagement. You will translate requirements into engineering tasks and drive secure cloud transformations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in cloud computing.
• 1+ years of experience with GCP.
• Strong in customer interaction, coaching, and requirements gathering.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices or DoD/DISA policies.
• Experience designing scalable, secure cloud solutions.
• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform.
• Strong DevOps and CI/CD in cloud environments.
• US Citizenship and active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Identify and translate requirements, pain points, and security concerns into actionable engineering tasks.
• Generate, update, and close out assignment tickets in response to customer needs.
• Conduct customer engagement activities such as weekly office hours and system monitoring.
• Ensure projects are optimized for cost and educate users on cloud usage.
• Collect and provide feedback to the government team to inform decisions.
• Explore opportunities for service automation and templating of common requests.
• Update documentation and processes to continuously improve Zero Trust and cybersecurity accreditation.
