Job summary

Dark Wolf is seeking a Google Customer Engineer to act as a critical liaison for our DoD customer, ensuring optimal adoption and secure use of Google Cloud in a government environment. This largely remote role supports multiple hubs across the US, including Ogden, UT, with a strong focus on security, automation, and customer success.

The ideal candidate has extensive Google Cloud knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to drive cloud transformation in a regulated government setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in cloud computing.
• 1+ years of experience with GCP.
• Strong facility with customer interaction and requirements gathering.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices or DoD/DISA policies.
• Experience with Terraform and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Identify and define customer requirements, pain points, and security concerns; translate into actionable engineering tasks.
• Generate, update, and close assignment tickets in response to customer needs and security concerns.
• Engage with customers through weekly office hours, system monitoring, and requirements gathering.
• Ensure projects are optimized for platform usage to reduce costs and drive cloud education.
• Provide feedback to the government team to inform planning decisions and improve Zero Trust architecture.
