Job summary

Dark Wolf Solutions, LLC seeks a Google Customer Engineer to serve as a liaison with a DOD customer, ensuring optimal adoption and secure use of Google Platform in a government environment. This primarily remote role may require on-site support at Dark Wolf Hubs in Herndon, VA; Tampa, FL; San Antonio, TX; Colorado Springs, CO; Ogden, UT; or Omaha, NE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in cloud computing.
• 1+ years of experience with GCP.
• Strong facility with customer and user interaction, coaching, and requirements gathering.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices or DoD/DISA cybersecurity policies.
• Strong understanding of Google Cloud services and technologies.
• Experience designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions.
• Experience developing technical architecture documents, driving design decisions, developing documentation artifacts, and presenting technical solutions to clients and executive level leaders.
• Experience with infrastructure automation using IaC tools such as Terraform.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices and experience implementing CI/CD in cloud environments.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the broader team as well as independently.
• US Citizenship and active Secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Identify and translate requirements, pain points, and security concerns into actionable engineering tasks.
• Generate, update, and close assignment tickets based on customer needs and security concerns.
• Conduct customer engagement activities like weekly office hours and system monitoring.
• Ensure projects are optimized for cloud usage and educate on cloud adoption.
• Collect feedback to inform government planning decisions.
• Explore opportunities for service automation and templating for common requests.
• Update documentation and processes to improve Zero Trust architecture and cybersecurity accreditation.
