HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital is seeking a GME Manager to oversee daily operations of program administrators and to support accreditation, development, and educational timelines for residency programs. The role involves coordinating onboarding, program evaluations, and interactions with HR and leadership to ensure adherence to ACGME requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 2+ years of GME experience, and familiarity with ERAS, Thalamus, and New

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Health Care Administration or related field.
• Equivalent work experience of 3 years may substitute degree requirement.
• Preferred: 2+ years of HCA GME experience.
• Working knowledge of ERAS, Thalamus and New Innovations is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Readiness, Accreditation, and Program Development duties for GME programs.
• Manage resident activities, supervision, and evaluation processes to meet ACGME requirements.
• Oversee program citations and action plans addressing ACGME citations.
• Facilitate letters of agreement and inter-institutional affiliations.
• Coordinate onboarding/offboarding and training logistics for residents and staff.
• Supervise and develop program administrators; manage performance and scheduling.
• Support GMEC meetings, accreditation documents, and sub-committees as needed.
• Assist with GME physician agreements with facility and division leadership.
