Job summary

AECOM is seeking a senior leader to head Global Heavy Civil Water Resources. You will oversee civil works programs, levees, coastal protection, pumping stations and mega water projects with ~$200M annual bookings.

The role aims for 10–20% annual growth and requires deep client relationships and strong communication. Hybrid work model with a global team and opportunities to shape business development strategy, engage with customers, and advance industry leadership.

Qualifications

• BA/BS + 12 years of experience or equivalent, including 4 years of leadership.
• Extensive years of Water Resources leadership experience.
• Experience growing a regional business and collaborating with other regions.
• Experience managing P&L including revenue generation, project margin achievement, DSO, G&A, project delivery, client satisfaction, staff utilization, safety, claims resolution and quality.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements a vision and metrics for the heavy civil water resources business line.
• Coordinate with management to monitor market, strategize, and drive growth and opportunity capture.
• Maintain customer engagement plans and build relationships for new and recompete opportunities.
• Promote company reputation through events and corporate social responsibility activities.
• Plan for future development and growth of heavy civil market sectors; present plans.
• Identify market trends to keep AECOM relevant in the industry.
• Explore teaming agreements and joint ventures with partners.
• Stay current with Water Business Line services and capabilities.
• Build relationships with customers, competitors, and industry groups to advance interests.
• Foster ethics, safety, diversity, engagement and operational excellence across the organization.
