Job summary

AECOM seeks a senior leader to head Global Heavy Civil Water Resources business development, driving client engagements and growth across major programs. You will translate client needs into actionable strategies and lead cross-functional teams to capture opportunities.

The role requires deep client relationships, strategic planning, and a track record of delivering revenue growth within a hybrid, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• BA/BS + 12 YORE or equivalent with 4 years of leadership
• Extensive Water Resources leadership experience, 6 years of leadership
• Experience managing P&L including revenue generation, project margin achievement, DSO, G&A, project delivery, client satisfaction, staff utilization, safety, claims resolution and quality.
• Experience growing a regional business and collaborating with other regions.

Responsibilities

• Develops the vision, objectives, metrics, plans and structure for the business development function for the heavy civil market.
• Works with divisions to ensure a coordinated business development function, robust pipeline, elimination of barriers, enhanced cooperation and achievement and capture of objectives; leverage capabilities; and harmonization.
• Develops, maintains and executes a customer engagement plan for Heavy Civil Programs and across Water Resources to establish relationships and enable solution development.
• Enhances the company's reputation and image by leveraging events and CSR activities.
• Plans for future development and growth of the heavy civil market sectors; prepares business development approaches and plans.
• Anticipate market trends to keep AECOM relevant in the industry.
• Explores teaming agreements, joint ventures, and other contractual relationships.
• Stays current with Water Business Line services and offerings and identifies opportunities to apply capabilities.
• Develops and maintains positive relationships with customers, competitors, industry groups and stakeholders.
• Promotes employee engagement and ethics, safety, diversity, engagement, operational excellence and compliance.
