The VP, People Business Partners & Employee Relations leads affirm's global PBP and ER functions, partnering with the CPO, PLT, and XLT to shape enterprise-wide people initiatives.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive People leadership experience
• Experience leading a global PBP organization
• Experience managing Employee Relations, including investigations and executive matters
• Proven ability to partner with C-suite executives while maintaining independent judgment
• Deep expertise in organizational consulting, effectiveness, and strategic workforce planning
• Strong business acumen and learning agility, with ability to quickly understand complex businesses

Responsibilities

• Define strategy, structure, and operating model for global PBP and ER functions
• Build high-performing PBP and ER teams through hiring, development, coaching
• Serve as strategic advisor to XLT on enterprise-wide talent and organizational decisions
• Develop understanding of Affirm's business to anticipate organizational implications
• Partner with leadership on workforce strategy, talent deployment, and use of AI/tech to increase leverage
• Guide organizational design and change programs to improve speed and accountability
• Provide executive oversight on complex ER matters and investigations
• Collaborate with Legal on employment practices and risk management
