The VP, People Business Partners & Employee Relations leads Affirm's global PBP and ER functions, partnering with the CPO, PLT, and XLT to shape enterprise-wide people strategies and operating models that empower Affirm to perform at its best.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive People leadership in global technology organisations.
• Significant experience leading a global PBP organization.
• Experience leading Employee Relations, including sensitive investigations and executive-level matters.
• Demonstrated experience partnering with C-suite executives while maintaining independent judgment.
• Deep expertise in organizational consulting, organizational effectiveness, executive coaching, and strategic workforce planning.

Responsibilities

• Define the strategy, structure, and operating model for global PBP and ER functions.
• Build high-performing PBP and ER teams with clear standards and accountability.
• Serve as strategic advisor to XLT on enterprise-wide leadership and organizational decisions.
• Anticipate organizational implications based on business strategy and operating model.
• Partner on workforce strategy including talent deployment and use of technology/AI.
• Help leaders design agile organizations with clear accountability and resources.
• Raise leadership quality through talent planning and executive assessment.
• Guide leaders through major organizational change and execution discipline.
• Set the strategy and operating model for Employee Relations globally.
• Provide executive oversight on complex ER issues and investigations.
• Translate ER data trends into proactive actions for leadership and performance.
• Partner with Legal on employment practices, policy, and risk management.
