Job summary

ValvTechnologies is seeking a dynamic technical sales professional to develop and direct long-term vision with cross-functional teams in the US market. You will respond to customer and channel inquiries, secure engineered product sales, and provide commercial support.

This role collaborates with field sales, engineering and project management to quote, negotiate, and expand high-performance valve solutions across worldwide end-users and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience in O&G
• Strong knowledge of process and severe service applications within the O&G markets
• Understanding of valve and actuator manufacturing material/product application
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and workflows
• Ability to read, review, and interpret specifications and data sheets
• Ability to meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Strongly customer-centric in style and behaviors
• Ability to work with end-users representatives and distributors

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quotations and marketing strategies for end-users and contractors worldwide
• Negotiate and manage major strategic alliances and valve contracts
• Review technical and commercial requirements of RFQs with emphasis on profit potential
• Consult with Engineering on product configurations to ensure conformance with capabilities and standards
• Know how to apply codes and standards related to the industry focus
• Handle customer problems and questions in the field with Field Service
• Regularly follows-up on all quotations
