Job summary

New England Controls Inc is seeking an Application Engineer to own the full lifecycle of valve solutions for our customers, from first conversation to final delivery. This role sits at the intersection of technical problem solving, customer engagement, and commercial results.

You will collaborate with Account Managers and Operations, apply valve expertise to customer conversations, and drive growth in our valve automation business across ball, butterfly valves and related solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical engineering.
• 3–5+ years in valves, valve automation, process control, or related industrial tech.
• Hands-on experience with sizing, selection and application of control, isolation, and safety relief valves.

Responsibilities

• Propose and sell valve solutions by assessing customer requirements and recommending configurations.
• Grow valve automation business across ball and butterfly valves and complete solutions.
• Provide technical support from start-up to issue resolution and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate on-time delivery with suppliers and maintain accurate CRM data.
• Partner with Account Managers on growth strategies and territory plans.
