Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking a Global Turnaround Scheduler SME in the Gulf Coast Region. This role provides global scheduling expertise, governance, and execution support across Dow’s turnaround programs, partnering with site teams and leadership to ensure adherence to standards and readiness for FEL and execution.

The role requires deep Primavera scheduling knowledge, 5+ years of relevant experience (or 10 years without a degree), and willingness to travel up to 25% annually. U.S.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience OR 10 years in turnaround execution and project controls (if no degree).
• Deep knowledge of Primavera, scheduling software and turnaround work processes.
• Prior experience as master scheduler in a major turnaround preferred.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% annually.
• U.S. work authorization; TWIC card or eligibility; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern Dow's global turnaround scheduling operating discipline, aligning with standards and governance.
• Provide scheduling leadership for major turnarounds ($30MM+) to improve readiness and performance.
• Assess readiness, health, and risk across FEL and execution; identify gaps and improvements.
• Lead readiness reviews, challenge sessions, and gate reviews to ensure critical milestones.
• Develop recommendations to address readiness deficiencies and reduce risk.
• Manage the global scheduler qualification curriculum; support training and mentoring.
• Lead global scheduler networks and promote best practices across Dow.
• Monitor performance during execution; apply risk management to enable safe decisions.
• Capture lessons learned and drive standardization across turnaround processes.
