Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking a Global Turnaround Scheduler SME for the Gulf Coast region.

This role provides global scheduling expertise within the Platinum work process, guiding Front-End Loading and execution to improve readiness, reduce risk, and drive predictable turnaround outcomes across Dow’s major projects. You will lead governance, mentor schedulers, coordinate with site teams and leadership, and apply PERA-based risk concepts to deliver safe, on-time, and within-budget turnarounds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience, or 10 years experience in turnaround execution and project controls will be considered.
• Deep knowledge of Primavera, Scheduling software and turnaround work processes.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% annually.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern Dow's global turnaround scheduling operating discipline.
• Provide scheduling leadership and support to turnaround teams for major events ($30MM+).
• Assess turnaround compliance, readiness, and health across FEL and execution phases.
• Lead readiness reviews, challenge sessions, and gate reviews for critical milestones.
• Develop recommendations to address readiness deficiencies and improve outcomes.
• Own the global turnaround scheduler qualification curriculum and training.
• Lead global scheduler networks and promote best practices.
• Support turnaround execution by monitoring performance and enabling decisions.
• Capture lessons learned and drive standardization across processes.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and AI-enabled solutions to advance scheduling.
