Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking a Global Turnaround Scheduler SME for the Gulf Coast region to lead scheduling governance, deliver global scheduling expertise, and support FEL and execution across Dow turnarounds.

The role partners with OTEC, site turnaround teams, and stakeholders to improve readiness, reduce risk, and drive predictable outcomes. A bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in turnaround scheduling or 10 years in lieu is required, with domestic/international travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 5+ years in turnaround scheduling or 10+ years in lieu of degree.
• Deep knowledge of Primavera and scheduling software and turnaround work processes.
• Prior experience as a master scheduler on a major turnaround is preferred.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% annually.
• U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern Dow's global turnaround scheduling operating discipline with alignment to standards and governance.
• Provide scheduling leadership for major turnarounds ($30MM+) to improve readiness and execution performance.
• Assess readiness, health, and compliance across FEL and execution phases, identifying risks and improvement opportunities.
• Lead readiness reviews, challenge sessions, and gate reviews to ensure critical deliverables.
• Develop recommendations to address deficiencies and drive better turnaround outcomes.
• Own the global scheduler qualification curriculum and mentoring activities.
• Lead global scheduler networks and promote best practices across Dow.
• Support execution by monitoring performance and aiding decision-making on safety, schedule, cost, and quality.
