Job summary

Dow Inc. in the Gulf Coast region is seeking a Global Turnaround Scheduler SME to lead and govern our turnaround scheduling discipline.

This role provides global scheduling expertise across FEL, governance, and execution, partnering with OTEC, site turnaround teams, and leadership to ensure readiness and adherence to Platinum standards throughout the project lifecycle. You will mentor schedulers, drive readiness reviews, monitor performance, and apply risk management principles to protect

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years related turnaround/controls experience; or 10 years without degree.
• Deep knowledge of Primavera and scheduling software.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
• U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern Dow's global turnaround scheduling operating discipline, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and governance requirements.
• Provide scheduling leadership to turnaround teams for major events to improve readiness and execution performance.
• Assess turnaround compliance, readiness, and health throughout FEL and execution phases; identify risks and gaps.
• Lead readiness reviews, challenge sessions, and gate reviews to ensure critical milestones are met before execution.
• Develop recommendations to address readiness deficiencies and reduce risk.
• Own the global scheduler qualification curriculum and support training, coaching, and mentor-ship activities.
• Lead global scheduler networks and promote best practices across Dow.
• Support execution by monitoring performance and applying risk management principles to enable critical decisions.
• Capture lessons learned and drive standardization and continuous improvement across processes.
• Lead evaluation of emerging technologies and AI-enabled solutions to advance scheduling capability.
