Job summary

Dow is seeking a Global Turnaround Scheduler SME in the Gulf Coast Region (Houston area). The role provides global scheduling expertise, execution support, and governance across Dow's platinum standards through Front-End Loading and execution.

It requires leading readiness activities, coaching teams, and ensuring adherence to timing and safety requirements. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor's degree with 5+ years in turnaround scheduling or 10 years in lieu of degree, strong Primavera

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree + 5 years of relevant experience OR 10 years in turnaround execution and project controls in lieu of a degree.
• Deep knowledge of Primavera, Scheduling software and turnaround work processes.
• Previous experience as a master scheduler in a major turnaround is preferred.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% annually.
• US work authorization; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern Dow's global turnaround scheduling operating discipline and governance.
• Provide scheduling leadership to turnaround teams for major events ($30MM+).
• Assess readiness, health, and risks across FEL and execution phases.
• Lead readiness reviews, challenge sessions, and gate reviews for critical milestones.
• Develop recommendations to address readiness deficiencies and reduce risk.
• Own the global scheduler qualification curriculum and mentor schedulers.
• Lead global scheduler networks and promote best practices across Dow.
• Monitor performance and support execution with PERA-based risk management.
• Capture lessons learned and drive standardization across processes.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and AI-enabled solutions for scheduling.
