Job summary

Dow Inc. in the Gulf Coast region seeks a Global Turnaround Scheduler SME to provide global scheduling expertise and governance across Dow's Platinum work process.

You will lead readiness, assurance, and performance oversight for turnarounds, coaching teams to excellence in scheduling competitiveness and predictability. You will partner with OTEC, site turnaround teams, leadership, and stakeholders to ensure strict adherence to global processes from FEL through execution, driving continuous

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree +5 years in turnaround required; or 10 years in lieu of degree.
• Deep knowledge of Primavera, scheduling software, and turnaround work processes.
• Experience as master scheduler on a major turnaround is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
• US work authorization; TWIC card eligibility and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern Dow's global turnaround scheduling operating discipline; align with standards and governance.
• Provide scheduling leadership to turnaround teams for major events ($30MM+).
• Assess readiness, health, and risk across FEL and execution phases.
• Lead readiness reviews, challenge sessions, and gate reviews to meet milestones.
• Develop and drive actions to address readiness gaps and reduce risk.
• Own the global scheduler qualification curriculum; mentor and coach schedulers.
• Lead global scheduler networks; promote best practices across Dow.
• Support execution by monitoring performance and enabling safe, on-time decisions.
• Capture lessons learned; drive standardization and continuous improvement.
• Evaluate emerging tech and AI-enabled solutions to enhance scheduling capability.
