Job summary

Dow is seeking a Global Turnaround Scheduler SME in the Gulf Coast region. You will provide global scheduling expertise, governance, and execution support for high-stakes turnarounds, partnering with site teams and leadership to ensure readiness and strong outcomes.

The role emphasizes coaching, performance oversight, and the development of a robust scheduling discipline across FEL and execution, with travel up to 25% and a requirement for US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant turnaround experience, or 10 years in lieu of degree.
• Deep knowledge of Primavera, scheduling software, and turnaround work processes.
• Previous experience as a master scheduler in a major turnaround is preferred.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% annually.
• Must possess a TWIC card or be eligible to obtain one and be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern Dow's global turnaround scheduling operating discipline and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
• Provide scheduling leadership and support to turnaround teams for major events ($30MM+).
• Assess readiness and health across FEL and execution phases, identifying risks and gaps.
• Lead readiness reviews, challenge sessions, and gate reviews for timely delivery.
• Develop recommendations to address deficiencies and drive improved outcomes.
• Own the global scheduler qualification curriculum and mentor schedulers.
• Lead global scheduler networks and promote best practices across Dow.
• Support execution by monitoring performance and applying risk management principles.
