Cogent Communications is seeking a Global Account Manager to drive new business in a multinational telecom environment. You will identify opportunities, engage key decision makers, and position Cogent's IP transit and data center services to enterprise customers.

This in-office role offers mentorship, training, and a structured path to growth in a fast-paced sales team. A track record in B2B telecom sales and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–8+ years of solid B2B telecom sales experience.
• Proven hunting, quota attainment in direct sales.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are a must.
• College degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities within a prescribed Regional Sales Territory and global markets.
• Prospect via direct calling, email, and contact efforts; qualify and generate opportunities with Key Decision Makers.
• Compliment prospecting and selling through onsite customer meetings as needed.
• Use consultative selling to position connectivity solutions leveraging Cogent's global network footprint.
• Help Cogent customers and prospects by positioning services for new business.
