You will source new business, engage top decision makers via calls and emails, and meet clients on-site to tailor IP transit and data connectivity solutions with Cogent’s global footprint.

Qualifications

• 3-8+ years of solid B2B sales experience in telecom with collocation, wholesale experience and data transit/transport.
• Proven track record of direct hunting, B2B sales and quota achievement.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, revenue-driven environment.
• CRM experience and proficiency with MS Office are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities within a prescribed Regional Sales Territory and global markets.
• Prospect via direct calling, email and outreach to Key Decision Makers.
• Meet with clients on-site as needed to advance opportunities.
• Use consultative selling to position connectivity solutions across Cogent's footprint.
• Support customers by leveraging the global network footprint in data centers and carrier neutral facilities.
