Job summary

Cogent Communications, a multinational Tier 1 ISP, seeks an experienced Regional Sales professional to identify and win new business in a global footprint. You will hunt opportunities in IP Transit, content providers, carriers, and netcentric firms, using direct outreach and onsite meetings as needed.

Qualifications

• 3-8+ years of solid B2B telecom sales experience with collocation, wholesale, data transit.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities within a Regional Sales Territory via hunting.
• Qualify and generate opportunities by direct calling, email, and contact efforts.
• Meet with Key Decision Makers and conduct onsite customer meetings as needed.
• Position services leveraging Cogent's global network footprint to win deals.
• Support growth in IP Transit and data center connectivity markets.
