Cogent Communications is a multinational Tier 1 ISP seeking an experienced sales professional to grow new business within a global sales territory. You will prospect, engage key decision makers, and drive connectivity solutions across IP Transit, content, carriers, and data center services.

The role emphasizes in-office collaboration five days a week, with a structured tenure-based pay plan and uncapped commissions based on MRCs, NRCs, and bursts.

Qualifications

• 3-8+ years of solid B2B sales experience in telecom or related field.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota through direct hunting.
• Strong ability to identify, qualify and generate new business opportunities.

Responsabilités

• Identify new business opportunities within a prescribed regional/global sales territory.
• Qualify and generate opportunities via direct calling, email, and outreach to Key Decision Makers.
• Conduct onsite customer meetings to complement prospecting and selling efforts.
• Position Cogent services for new business by leveraging the global network footprint.
• Collaborate with customers to understand connectivity needs and provide tailored solutions.
