Cogent Communications, a leading multinational ISP, seeks a regional sales professional for an in-office position in the United States. You will identify and win new business within a defined territory, targeting IP transit, wholesale, and carrier customers.

You will engage directly with decision makers, conduct targeted outreach, and tailor connectivity solutions leveraging Cogent's global network footprint to drive revenue and growth.

Qualifications

• 3-8+ years of solid B2B telecom sales experience.
• Proven track record of meeting quotas in hunting sales.
• Strong communication and prospecting skills; CRM experience.
• College degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities within a regional sales territory.
• Prospect via direct calling, email, and meetings with Key Decision Makers.
• Qualify and generate opportunities; support meetings as needed.
• Position services leveraging Cogent's global network footprint.
• Meet revenue deadlines in a fast-paced team environment.
