Zusammenfassung

Cogent Communications is seeking an in-office Regional Sales professional to identify and pursue new business opportunities in an assigned territory. You will engage with Key Decision Makers via calls, emails, and onsite visits to qualify and close deals for IP Transit, content, and carrier services.

The role emphasizes hunting, quota attainment, and leveraging Cogent's global network footprint. Strong communication and CRM skills are required; college degree preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifikationen

• 3-8+ years of solid B2B sales experience in telecom with collocation/wholesale experience.
• Proven track record of direct hunting and quota achievement.
• Ability to identify, qualify and generate new business through prospecting and research.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are a must.
• Working knowledge of CRM and MS Office is a plus.

• Identify new business opportunities within a prescribed Regional Sales Territory via sourcing and hunting.
• Qualify and generate new business by direct outreach to Key Decision Makers.
• Compliment prospecting and selling efforts through onsite customer meetings as needed.
• Use consultative selling to position connectivity solutions leveraging Cogent's global footprint.
• Support Cogent customers and prospects by positioning services for new business.
