Goodwin is seeking a Manager to lead pricing strategy within the Global Operations Team in Santa Monica. You will own end-to-end pricing across AFAs and value-based models, negotiate with clients, and develop client-centric pricing that drives profitability.

You’ll use data analytics to inform proposals and mentor analysts in a fast-paced, global environment. You will partner with Finance, Client Development, and Legal Project Management, delivering repeatable playbooks, tools, and training to

Competenze

• 3–5 years of pricing, commercial strategy, or finance experience in a professional services environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Proven ability to manage pricing requests independently and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong commercial acumen with a focus on value over rates.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, modeling) and PowerPoint.
• Highly organized, proactive, and capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with data analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau) or similar.

• Own end-to-end pricing proposals across AFAs, fixed fees, retainers, and value-based models from scoping to delivery.
• Manage live pricing requests, RFPs, panel submissions, and fee negotiations under tight deadlines.
• Lead or support fee negotiations with clients and partners backed by commercial economics.
• Build pricing strategies that are client-centric, profitable, and sustainable.
• Apply sound judgment to balance client value with firm profitability and assess risk on each proposal.
• Monitor budget-to-actual performance and report on timekeeper utilization and rates.
