Job summary

Goodwin is seeking a Pricing Manager within the Global Operations Team to lead pricing strategy and execution for a portfolio of matters and clients. You will own end-to-end pricing across AFAs, fixed fees, and value-based models, while managing RFPs and fee negotiations under deadlines.

You’ll build client-centric pricing tools, benchmark models, and playbooks. The role emphasizes data-driven narratives, collaboration with Legal Project Management, Finance, and Practice Groups, and mentoring

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of pricing, commercial strategy, or finance experience in a professional services environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Ability to manage pricing requests independently and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong commercial acumen with focus on value, not just rates.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and storytelling skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; data analytics tools experience

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end pricing proposals across AFAs, fixed fees, retainers, and value-based models.
• Manage live pricing requests, RFPs, and fee negotiations under tight deadlines.
• Lead or support client negotiations with monetizable economics.
• Develop profitable, client-centric pricing strategies and trackers.
• Translate data into actionable pricing insights for attorneys and clients.
• Collaborate with Finance, Client Development, and Practice Groups to deliver pricing outcomes.
