Job summary

Dust is hiring a Global Head of Solutions Engineering to lead our technical customer-facing organization through a critical growth phase. You will direct pre- and post-sales SE, shape how we win complex enterprise evaluations, and deepen adoption with advanced use cases and architectures.

This founding role combines hands-on customer engagement with building scalable teams, driving operational rigor, and aligning with Sales, CS, Product, and Engineering to maximize value.

Qualifications

• Built, scaled, or transformed a Solutions Engineering or equivalent customer-facing function.
• Recruited and developed high-caliber technical talent across regions.
• Owned measurable GTM outcomes and helped win complex enterprise opportunities.
• Understood pre-sales execution and post-sales adoption and expansion.

Responsibilities

• Define the global vision, strategy, and operating model for Solutions Engineering at Dust.
• Lead the organization across pre-sales and post-sales Solutions Engineering.
• Design team structure, leadership model, roles, and career paths.
• Scale the team across Paris, New York, San Francisco and London.
• Hire, develop, and manage Solutions Engineers and future SE leaders.
• Establish a high talent bar combining technical depth with business judgment.
• Create clear decision rights and operating rhythms across regions.
• Allocate resources based on opportunity complexity and strategic importance.
• Build repeatable systems and leadership capacity for scalable growth.
