This role focuses on strategic account development, disease-state education, and building strong relationships with healthcare professionals across multiple states. The ideal candidate will have a strong pharma sales background, extensive account management experience, and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited institution.
• 10+ years pharma industry experience in related, diverse roles.
• Clinical experience selling specialty/rare disease products in a large multi-state geography.
• Extensive local relationships, access, and market knowledge.
• Proven track record of top sales performance meeting objectives.
• Excellent virtual/remote selling and customer engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Create awareness around rare disease states based on company marketed products.
• Strategic account management—translate strategy into action.
• Target, plan and cover states/regions within the territory.
• Manage leads with timely follow-up.
• Meet or exceed sales forecast and objectives; develop territory business plans.
• Guide HCPS through prescribing process and support services.
• Collaborate with marketing, leadership, and other internal partners on local market needs.
• Execute marketing initiatives and speaker programs in the local geography.
• Support HCP conferences with key messages and resources.
• Adhere to compliance guidelines and complete trainings on time.
• Submit call activity in CRM (Veeva) and complete expense reports (Concur).
• Travel up to 60% across territory and to regional/national meetings.
