Job summary

BD is seeking a Manager of Payroll Operations to oversee payroll across the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico. The role focuses on transformation, accuracy, and compliance, while partnering with offshore teams and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities include policy education, cross-functional project alignment, and leading process improvements for timely, accurate payroll and tax reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience running payroll.
• 5+ years’ experience handling multi-entity and multi-country payroll.
• Knowledge of payroll regulations including taxes, benefits, and withholdings.
• Experience with vendor relationships and SLAs for 3rd party payroll providers.
• Ability to understand and troubleshoot local payrolls in designated regions.
• Advanced Excel and Word skills and proficient use of MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Partner with outsourced offshore team to ensure task completion and resolve complex payroll issues.
• Communicate changes in payroll policies to client groups and teams.
• Collaborate with leaders to align payroll approaches with company policies and objectives.
• Ensure NA payroll on-time and accurate; file statutory returns with government agencies.
