Job summary

BD is seeking a Manager of Payroll Operations to lead a centralized payroll team across multiple jurisdictions including the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico. The role focuses on adopting best practices, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure accurate, on-time payroll and compliance.

The position requires strong leadership, vendor management, and knowledge of payroll regulations, with a mandate to optimize service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in payroll
• 5+ years’ experience handling multi-entity and multi-country payroll
• Working knowledge of payroll regulations and tax withholdings

Responsibilities

• Partners with outsourced off-shore team to ensure tasks are completed; assist with complex payroll issues
• Demonstrates ability to influence, persuade, and negotiate with key stakeholders
• Prepares and educates client groups and teams on changes in payroll policies
• Applies multidisciplinary business principles to cross-functional projects and activities
• Ensures timely and accurate payroll processing across North America and jurisdictions like Canada and Puerto Rico
