BD in the United States is seeking a Manager of Payroll Operations to lead a centralized payroll team serving the US, Canada and Puerto Rico from San Antonio, TX. You will drive continuous improvement, compliance and customer satisfaction.

This role partners with offshore providers, manages cross‑functional projects, and ensures accurate, on‑time payroll processing and regulatory reporting across North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience running payroll.
• 5+ years’ experience handling multi-entity and multi-country payroll.
• Knowledge of payroll regulations including taxes, benefits, and stock vesting.
• Experience with vendor relationships and SLAs with 3rd party payroll providers.
• Strong Excel and Word skills; ability to troubleshoot and communicate across levels.

• Partners with outsourced offshore team to complete tasks and resolve complex issues.
• Educates client groups and teams on payroll policy changes.
• Collaborates with business leaders to align payroll programs with company objectives.
• Ensures on-time, accurate payroll processing and regulatory reporting across NA.
