Job summary

BD is seeking a Manager of Payroll Operations to oversee payroll across the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico, ensuring accurate processing and compliance. The role collaborates with offshore teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and regulatory adherence.

The position requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and expert knowledge of payroll regulations, with a focus on delivering high-quality customer solutions and on-time payroll processing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience running payroll across multiple entities and countries.
• 5+ years’ experience handling multi-entity and multi-country payroll.
• Working knowledge of payroll regulations including taxes, benefits, and stock vesting.
• Experience with vendor management and SLAs with third-party providers.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and Word; ability to analyze payroll data and generate reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead payroll operations and coordinate with an offshore team to complete tasks.
• Educate client groups and teams on changes in payroll policies and practices.
• Collaborate with business leaders to align payroll programs with company objectives.
• Ensure on-time, accurate payroll processing and tax reporting across NA regions.
• Advise internal departments on compliance and technical payroll issues.
