Job summary

Datasite is seeking a Payroll Manager to lead payroll operations across the United States, Canada, Costa Rica, and Brazil. You will oversee a two-person team, ensure timely and accurate processing, and collaborate with Accounting, Finance, HR, Treasury, and external providers.

This role requires 10+ years of payroll experience, CPP certification, and strong knowledge of multi-jurisdiction tax and compliance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressively responsible payroll experience with multi-state U.S. payroll and international payroll operations.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or human resources.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification required.
• Demonstrated experience leading payroll professionals, including experience managing global and/or remote team members.
• Strong knowledge of payroll accounting, payroll taxation, reconciliations, controls, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead payroll operations for 1,000+ employees across the U.S., Canada, Costa Rica, and Brazil.
• Lead and develop a payroll team of two, establishing priorities and reviewing work.
• Oversee global payroll delivery across the U.S., Canada, Brazil, and Costa Rica.
• Maintain effective payroll controls, reconciliations, and audit readiness.
• Coordinate payroll funding with Treasury, including taxes, garnishments, and other payments.
• Partner with HR, Legal, and stakeholders to assess payroll implications of regulatory changes.
• Lead payroll process improvement and system upgrades with HCM analysts.
