Job summary

Remote is seeking a Manager, Payroll Operations to own planning and implementation of our Payroll chapter within the Global Payroll Operations team. You will lead and mentor the payroll team, ensuring on-time, accurate payroll processing while complying with country-specific regulations.

You'll work across internal and external stakeholders, manage relationships with payroll services, and stay current on international payroll laws.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in regional/global payroll operations.
• Understanding of global payroll best practices.
• Experience implementing payroll in multiple countries and managing relationships with third-party payroll services.
• Strong people management skills; able to lead without micromanaging.
• Proficient with SAP, Excel and Google Sheets; analytical problem solving.
• Able to work asynchronously in a fast-paced international environment.
• Fluent in English.
• Remote experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Guide and mentor the Payroll Operations team.
• Own the complete payroll function ensuring on-time, accurate payroll.
• Serve as point of contact between internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead the Payroll team, unblock and support them.
• Keep up to date with international payroll laws/regulations.
• Ensure compliance with all corporate and country-specific regulations.
• Manage relationships with payroll providers.
• Develop and implement best practices and SLA metrics.
