Job summary

Genuine Parts Company seeks a Senior Manager of Payroll Compliance/Operations to lead a multi-state and international payroll function. This role reports to the Director of Payroll and oversees a team of payroll professionals to ensure accurate, compliant processing.

The ideal candidate will be a SME in full-cycle payroll administration, payroll compliance, and internal controls, partnering with HR, Finance, and Internal Audit to support financial reporting and SOX standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive payroll experience.
• 5+ years of leadership managing payroll teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead international and multi-state payroll processing for exempt and non-exempt employees.
• Ensure payroll is accurate, timely, and in compliance with regulations.
• Coach and develop a payroll team of 2–5 direct reports.
• Partner with Finance, HR, Internal Audit to support SOX controls.
