Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Payroll Senior Manager to ensure timely, accurate payroll processing for a multi-state workforce. You will lead a team handling routine runs, off-cycle requests, and compliance with SOX and company policies, while driving process improvements and stakeholder collaboration.

The role requires extensive Workday experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage audits and complex reconciliations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• Eight+ years in payroll, accounting, finance or related field.
• Experience managing payroll in a multi-state environment.
• Proficient in Workday and payroll reporting.
• Experience with third-party vendors in a shared services environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll compliance for multi-state/multi-country operations.
• Ensure adherence to payroll strategy and objectives.
• Lead planning and execution of payroll functions and services.
• Manage relationships with payroll providers and outsourcers.
• Collaborate with Finance, Benefits, HR and IT.
