Job summary

Airbnb seeks an experienced Payment Partnerships Manager to lead how we pay out to hosts globally. You will drive partner strategy, negotiate complex agreements, and manage senior relationships across markets, with a focus on cost efficiency and regulatory alignment.

Reporting to the Head of Payment Partnerships, you will collaborate with Legal, Treasury, Risk, Product, Engineering and Global Operations to scale payout infrastructure and ensure host payments are reliable and compliant.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in payments/fintech with 8+ years in partnerships, BD, or enterprise management.
• Proven success in negotiating multi-million dollar partnerships.
• Ability to craft partner strategies that drive measurable growth.

Responsibilities

• Define payout partner strategy with Finance, Legal, Compliance and Product teams.
• Identify partners in each market and structure/renegotiate deals for cost and reach.
• Lead global payout deal execution and contract negotiation across regions.
• Own relationships with financial institutions, processors, banks and key partners.
• Monitor partner performance and drive cross-functional improvements.
• Lead strategic reviews and resolve performance or operational issues.
