Job summary

Uber is seeking a Sr. Manager, Payment Implementations to lead strategy and execution of complex payment deployments worldwide. The role partners with Payments, Product, Engineering and external processors to launch new capabilities reliably and efficiently.

You’ll own end-to-end implementations, establish scalable processes, and drive initiatives from requirements through production launch while balancing reliability, cost and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in payments with leadership of complex implementations.
• Ability to lead cross-functional programs across Product, Engineering, Operations, and partners.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for payment issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead payment implementations end to end, translating requirements into plans and driving launch.
• Own card payment launch readiness including configuration and rollout.
• Drive PSP/processing implementations with cross-functional partners.
• Establish scalable processes, playbooks, and launch standards across markets.
• Define technical requirements with Product/Engineering and ensure observability for launches.
• Coordinate with Payments, Partnership, Finance and Operations to meet timelines.
• Identify and mitigate implementation risks before production.
• Provide senior-level expertise on payment processing and decisions.
• Drive initiatives with clear ownership and cross-team accountability.
