Job summary

Uber Technologies Inc. in San Francisco is seeking a Sr. Manager, Payment Implementations to lead strategy and execution of complex payment initiatives globally.

This role sits at the intersection of Payments, Product, Engineering, Operations and external partners, ensuring new payment capabilities are implemented reliably and efficiently. The role will own the end-to-end implementation of payment processing changes, including new market launches, processor implementations, and other initiatives

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in payments or fintech, including partnerships or commercial roles
• Minimum 5 years of experience with the global payments ecosystem — card networks, acquiring, digital wallets, regulatory landscape
• Experience leading complex technical payment implementations at a global scale
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate complex concepts into business decisions

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payment implementations and launches.
• Own card payment readiness, configurations and rollout.
• Drive PSP implementations with cross-functional teams.
• Build scalable processes, playbooks, and launch standards.
• Define technical requirements with Product and Engineering.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to meet launch timelines.
• Identify and mitigate implementation risks.
• Provide senior-level SME on payment processing decisions.
• Drive complex initiatives across teams end-to-end
