Job summary

Ramp is seeking a highly organized Associate in People Operations to streamline immigration and mobility work. You will coordinate cases with employees, counsel, and vendors, while building scalable workflows and AI-enabled tools to reduce manual effort.

You’ll operate within established policies, escalate complex issues, and support the external counsel program to ensure smooth, compliant processes across global mobility.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in People Operations, immigration operations, global mobility, or another high-detail service environment.
• Strong process-management skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage many deadlines without dropping follow-through.
• Hands-on experience improving a workflow with AI, automation, spreadsheets, dashboards, ticketing, or related tools.
• Clear, empathetic written communication and sound discretion with sensitive employee information.
• Comfort working within defined policies, recognizing risk, and escalating promptly.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate active immigration, work-authorization, relocation, and business-travel cases with employees, external counsel, vendors, and internal partners.
• Maintain accurate case trackers, deadlines, required documents, status updates, and handoffs from intake through completion.
• Give employees timely, compassionate, plain-language process updates; route legal questions and exceptions to counsel or the Lead.
