Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Global Mining Practice Business Development Leader to drive bookings and revenue across a dynamic global mining sector.

You will lead strategic account planning, build trusted relationships with mining clients and partners, and steer major pursuits with multidisciplinary and advisory teams. You’ll translate commodity outlooks into focused market priorities, align HDR’s capabilities with client needs, and mentor teams to win high-value contracts while expanding HDR’s market

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years relevant mining-industry experience.
• Self-starter with history of completing projects with limited oversight.
• Deep knowledge of procurement of professional services in the A/E/C industry.
• Strong networking and client-growth capabilities across geographies.

Responsibilities

• Lead global mining practice growth and drive bookings, revenue and market share.
• Build strategic client relationships with mining companies and key partners.
• Lead capture planning and proposal strategy for high-value opportunities.
• Shape market strategy based on commodity outlooks and investment patterns.
• Align capabilities across HDR to deliver integrated mining solutions.
• Coach regional teams in account planning and client-focused communication.
• Develop partnerships to extend HDR’s mining capabilities and access.
