Job summary

HDR, Inc. seeks a Global Mining Practice Business Development Leader to drive client engagement, strategic account development, major pursuits and market growth across the mining sector.

You will lead capture planning, shape market strategy and align HDR’s capabilities to client needs on a global scale. You will develop strategic partnerships, grow bookings and revenue, and mentor teams while representing HDR in industry forums and associations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• Professional registration in engineering or geoscience or equivalent mining-industry experience.
• Proven track record in winning high-value, multidisciplinary mining assignments.
• Experience across geographies, commodities, and mine-life-cycle stages.

Responsibilities

• Lead global mining practice growth with global strategy and account planning.
• Build strategic client relationships with mining companies and partners.
• Drive major pursuits with capture planning, positioning, and proposals.
• Shape market strategy via commodity outlooks and investment patterns.
• Coordinate with HDR groups to present integrated mining solutions.
• Coach regional leaders in relationship development, capture planning and proposals.
• Represent HDR in mining associations and client forums to expand market access.
