Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Global Mining Practice Business Development Leader to drive client engagement and growth across a dynamic global mining sector.

This role leads strategic accounts, major pursuits and market development across geographies and commodities, coordinating cross-functional HDR teams to deliver differentiated mining solutions. The position requires deep mining-industry relationships, a track record of winning high-value contracts, and the ability to travel to multiple locations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, geology, environmental science or business; advanced degree is an asset.
• Professional registration in engineering or geoscience, or equivalent senior mining-industry experience.
• Experience winning high-value, multidisciplinary mining assignments and building long-term strategic accounts in NA, Europe and Australia.

Responsibilities

• Lead global mining business development strategy to grow bookings, revenue, backlog and market share.
• Build strategic client relationships with mining companies and partners.
• Lead major pursuits including capture planning, positioning and proposals.
• Shape market strategy based on commodity outlooks and investment patterns.
• Coordinate HDR resources to deliver integrated mining solutions.
• Develop and mentor regional business development leaders and client managers.
• Represent HDR in mining associations and client forums to strengthen market intelligence.
