HDR, Inc. seeks a Global Mining Practice Business Development Leader to drive growth across the mining sector. You will lead client engagement, strategic account development, and major pursuits in a dynamic global market.

You will build strategic relationships, translate market signals into account plans, and coordinate multisector HDR resources to deliver differentiated solutions. Strong leadership, communication, and travel are essential.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant mining industry experience.
• Self-starter with limited oversight.
• Deep knowledge of procurement of professional services in the A/E/C industry.
• Ability to motivate and inspire others.
• Ability to build a network of clients and industry partners.
• Experience in sales and developing win strategies.
• Strong financial acumen and negotiation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability and desire to travel and engage with others in-person.
• Experience growing programs in new or highly competitive markets.
• Experience winning high-value contracts in the A/E/C industry.
• Experience writing compelling content based on information from technical staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead global mining practice growth with strategic account development.
• Build strategic client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor.
• Lead capture planning, positioning and proposal strategy for complex mining opportunities.
• Shape market strategy based on commodity outlooks and investment patterns.
• Coordinate across HDR groups to deploy integrated mining teams.
• Coach and mentor regional leaders in account planning and pursuit management.
• Represent HDR in mining associations and client forums to strengthen market presence.
