Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Global Mining Practice Business Development Leader to drive growth across a dynamic mining sector worldwide. You will lead client engagement, pursue major opportunities, and shape strategic account plans across geographies and commodities.

You will build strategic partnerships, mentor teams, and coordinate across HDR groups to deliver integrated solutions. The role requires deep mining-industry experience, strong leadership, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of relevant mining-industry experience.
• Self-starter with a history of delivering projects with limited oversight.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement of professional services in the A/E/C industry.
• Proven ability to win high-value, multidisciplinary mining assignments.
• Willingness to travel across North America and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead global mining practice growth through bookings, revenue, backlog and market share.
• Develop and maintain prioritized global growth plan by strategic account, geography, commodity and service offering.
• Build strategic client relationships as a trusted advisor to mining companies.
• Coordinate with HDR groups to deploy integrated solutions and qualified teams.
• Lead major pursuits with capture planning and proposal strategy.
• Mentor regional business development leaders and drive governance, metrics and reporting.
• Represent HDR in mining associations and client forums to strengthen market visibility.
