Job summary

HDR, Inc. seeks a Global Mining Practice Business Development Leader to drive client engagement, strategic account development and major pursuits across the mining sector.

You will lead capture planning, shape market strategies and align HDR’s capabilities with client needs to deliver differentiated solutions. You will cultivate senior relationships, coordinate cross-group efforts, and recruit talent to support growth across North America, Europe and markets worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, geology, environmental science, business or a related field.
• Professional engineering or geoscience registration or equivalent senior mining-industry experience is preferred.
• Experience winning high-value, multidisciplinary mining assignments and managing strategic accounts.

Responsibilities

• Lead global mining practice growth with strategy to increase bookings, revenue and market share.
• Build strategic client relationships and act as trusted advisor to mining companies and partners.
• Lead major pursuit efforts including capture planning and proposal strategy for complex opportunities.
• Shape market strategy by translating commodity outlooks and investment patterns into priorities.
• Coordinate across HDR groups to deploy integrated mining capabilities for clients.
• Coach regional teams in account planning, relationship development and capture management.
• Represent HDR in mining associations and client forums to strengthen brand visibility.
