Job summary

HDR, Inc. seeks a Global Mining Practice Business Development Leader to drive client engagement, strategic account growth, and major pursuits across the mining sector.

You will lead capture, positioning, and proposal strategy while aligning HDR’s capabilities across geographies and service lines. You will develop relationships with key mining clients, partners and stakeholders, shape market strategy, and mentor teams to win high-value contracts on a global scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, geology, environmental science, business or related field.
• Professional engineering, geoscience or other registration, or equivalent senior mining-industry experience.
• 15+ years relevant mining-industry experience.
• Experience winning high-value, multidisciplinary mining assignments and developing long-term strategic accounts.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic account planning for priority mining clients, including relationship mapping and forecasted opportunities.
• Build and qualify a balanced pipeline of consulting and advisory opportunities across the mine life cycle.
• Lead capture planning, differentiation strategies and executive engagement for major pursuits.
• Coordinate HDR-wide capabilities to deliver integrated mining solutions across geographies and commodities.
• Coach regional leaders in relationship development, capture planning and proposal best practices.
