Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Global Mining Practice Business Development Leader to drive client engagement, strategic account development, major pursuits and market growth across a dynamic global mining sector.

You will lead capture, advise mining clients, translate commodity outlooks into focused priorities, coordinate HDR’s capabilities across geographies and service lines, and coach teams to build durable market positions in North America, Europe and Australia.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years relevant mining industry experience.
• Self-starter with a history of completing projects with limited oversight.
• Deep knowledge of procurement of professional services in the A/E/C industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel across North America, Europe and Australia.

Responsibilities

• Lead global mining practice growth and bookings strategy.
• Build strategic client relationships and key partnerships.
• Drive major pursuits including capture planning and proposal strategy.
• Shape market strategy based on commodity outlooks and client capital plans.
• Coordinate HDR capabilities across geographies and service lines.
• Coach and mentor regional leaders in account planning and pursuit activities.
