HDR, Inc. is seeking a Global Mining Practice Business Development Leader to drive client engagement and growth across a dynamic global mining sector. You will lead strategic account development, major pursuits and market growth with senior leadership collaboration.

The role emphasizes relationship development, capture planning, and cross-functional teamwork across HDR’s mining, water, environmental, power and advisory services to deliver distinctive value to clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years relevant industry experience.
• Self-starter with limited oversight and strong initiative.
• Deep knowledge of procurement of professional services in A/E/C.
• Ability to motivate and inspire others and build client relationships.
• Willingness to travel to engage with clients in person.

Responsibilities

• Lead global mining business development strategy to grow bookings, revenue and market share.
• Build strategic client relationships and serve as trusted advisor to key partners.
• Lead major pursuits with capture planning and proposal strategy.
• Shape market strategy by translating outlooks into account and geography priorities.
• Coordinate across HDR groups to deploy best-qualified teams for mining clients.
• Develop the team through coaching in account planning and pursuit execution.
• Represent HDR in mining associations and client forums to strengthen brand.
